Cato’s Place is the blog of Pete Sellars. Pete is a Java application developer who calls Auckland in New Zealand home.
He is interested in all things web as well as Java and is currently also learning about Scala (a functional language) and Groovy (a scripting language).
Pete is passionate about web standards, great design and best practices. He is also passionate about testing and continous integration. He reads endless refactoring and implementation guides/books and views too many design sites for inspiration.
When he is not doing any of these things Pete can be found on Facebook, watching movies, trying to cook or out Tenpin Bowling. Pete has represented his region at the National Tenpin Bowling Regional Team championships before – and shall do so again in 2009 in Christchurch.
